Once I stop, sometimes I just stop and there’s no getting me going again. I wish it was easier to navigate and quicker to get from one video to the next. I mean, this morning, I did do both the Mark, Move & Groove (15 min) and the Party Express (25 min), but changing between videos threw me off a little. Most days have two videos scheduled which scares me a little. The program also came with this schedule: It shouldn’t be all one thing there needs to be a decent mix so that you can tighten and tone while burning calories. One thing that I do like is the idea of having a mixture of cardio and strength because that’s super important when it comes to fitness.

One of the discs has all the cardio videos (Mark, Move & Groove Disco Groove Party Express and Shaun T’s Dance Party), while the other disc has three strength workouts (Rock it Out, Hard-Core Abs, and Booty Time). The program arrived last week, and here’s what I got: I previously mentioned that while I was home sick recently, I purchased Shaun T’s Rockin’ Body program because it looked like the hip hop version of Zumba. Sad like a little old lady wearing sequins and rocking blue hair to hold on to her youth. What I just did, Shaun T’s Rockin’ Body, was not cool at all. When I was in high school, I was a member of the show choir – a real life Glee moment in which we’d wear sparkly costumes and sing and dance and it was cool. I have never felt so uncoordinated in my life. Thank goodness there are no full-length mirrors in my living room because I’m sure what just happened was akin to a newly birthed giraffe trying to stand up.
